Rain and rapids
Zoom H2E 32 bit recording of Sharplin Falls in New Zealand on a rainy day with the occasional drips of water on the umbrella. The river was flowing quite rapidly over the rocks but I kept a distance so it wouldn't overpower the sound of the rain in the forest.

It's winter on Vancouver Island. The heavy and frequent rains engorge the lakes & streams and they flow into the Cowichan River. Engorged by seasonal precipitation this large heritage river churns into a narrow bedrock canyon, turns, and comes out of the turn charging. This is where the recording was made, at river level. Recorded in January with a Zoom H1 N, audio quality 48,000 Hz. Unedited.

Rushing River Loop
