I wanted to create a mountain atmosphere with someone who is out of breath and walks in the snow with a lot of wind. I started by completely creating the sound of footsteps by generating a pink noise. I fade in and out to create an opening attack and a slightly softer closing. I then increased the saturation with the distortion effect to get a more "scraping" effect. It allowed me to get a step. So, I duplicated the sound 10 times on the same track, then duplicated the track to have the sound of
