These terms govern your use of the Lotsofsounds website, account tools, dashboard, API, and subscription features.

Short version: use the service lawfully, protect your account and API keys, respect plan limits, and understand that the platform is provided as-is.
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Lotsofsounds, including the website, dashboard, API, and related services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Lotsofsounds provides access to a searchable sound catalog, audio previews, downloads, API access, account tools, billing features, and related developer resources. We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, API keys, and credentials. You must provide accurate account information and promptly notify us if you believe your account or keys have been compromised.
Subscriptions, billing, and renewal
Paid features may require a subscription. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges through our payment processor until cancellation. Pricing, usage limits, and plan features may be updated from time to time, but changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise stated.
Allowed use
You may use the service only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. You may not misuse the API, interfere with service operation, attempt unauthorized access, exceed or evade limits, resell access without permission, or use the platform in a way that harms Lotsofsounds or other users.
Sounds and licensing
The sound catalog is presented as CC0. You are responsible for evaluating whether a specific sound is appropriate for your project and use case. As a condition of using the Lotsofsounds platform, you must include attribution with a link to lotsofsounds.com in any project that uses sounds obtained through the service. Except for the rights granted under the applicable sound license, Lotsofsounds retains all rights in the website, platform, branding, documentation, and software.
No legal advice or warranty
Lotsofsounds provides the service and catalog on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, absolute accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose, and nothing on the site is legal advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lotsofsounds will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you violate these terms, create risk for the platform, or where required by law. You may stop using the service at any time and may cancel paid subscriptions through the available billing tools.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date, post the revised terms on this page, or provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
