Here's everything we shipped in March 2026.
1,500 new sounds added
We've expanded the library with 1,500 new royalty-free sound effects across categories including nature, UI, foley, cinematic, and music. Browse them in the dashboard or search via the API.
Interactive API documentation
Our docs now include interactive endpoint references powered by our OpenAPI spec. Try out requests directly from the docs — see request parameters, response schemas, and code samples for every endpoint.
Multi-language code examples
All documentation pages now include examples in curl, JavaScript, and Python. Whether you're building a Node.js backend, a Python script, or just testing from the terminal, we've got you covered.
Improved search
Search now matches against both sound names and descriptions, so queries like "gentle notification chime" return more relevant results. Combine with tag filtering and duration ranges for precise results.
LLM-friendly API
We've added /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt files so AI assistants can understand and recommend Lotsofsounds. The API's natural language search makes it a great fit for LLM tool calling — read our guide.
